Prioritizing one’s health makes life easy and meaningful in ways that words can’t quantify. I know you are familiar with the saying that health is wealth but most of us do not see it as wealth all because we cannot monetize good health literally.
The truth is, we can monetize our health because, without good health, there is nothing one can do. The ability to ‘hustle’, like we always say, will not be available and unavailability of this means that we cannot make money. So, being healthy or living a healthy lifestyle cannot be overemphasized.
I know for someone reading this right now, the next question will be how do I stay healthy? Well, there are so many ways to stay healthy. The most important one is to live a healthy lifestyle. Did I hear someone say HOW? Let us get into the how but first, I want to tell you a story of a health-conscious young man.
Once upon a healthy time, there was a health-conscious young man named Charles. Charles was one of the great advocates of regular medical checks. He’s always advising others to go to the hospital for checkups and does not hesitate to drive his neighbours and friends to the hospital when the need arises.
One day, he had a slight stomach-related problem and a crooner of ‘consult your doctor’s, he picked up his car key and drove himself to the hospital. On getting there, he was attended to by the front desk officer and given a number to wait on a long queue to see the doctor on duty.
To Charles, this would only take a few minutes but sadly, minutes ran into hours and hours into almost half of the day with an excruciating stomach pain. He went back and forth to the front desk office to see if the officer could be of help in any way but nothing was done to help him ease the pain.
A frustrated Charles picked up his phone to call a friend to come and pick him up and drive him to another hospital since he couldn’t drive as the pain had gone really bad. On getting there, the friend assisted him to the car and instead of speeding to another hospital, whipped out his phone and connected to the OgaDoc platform, a telemedicine platform where all health needs are catered to by seasoned Doctors.
Charles was connected in no time to a physical hospital where his health needs were attended to in no time and relief was brought to his system by the prompt actions of the doctors on the OgaDoc platform.
Now back to how we can live a healthy lifestyle. Well, it is quite easy from where I stand. That is because I have OgaDoc on speed dial on my phone and I get quality and timely advice on how to make healthy decisions and get prompt medical attention without waiting in the long queues that have marred private and public hospitals due to brain drain.
